Our volunteers have been very busy setting up a workshop from a 40′ shipping container. This new workshop provides a secure area for our data erasure service and will be where most of the imaging of our refurbished computers will also occur.
Many, many volunteer hours have been spent streamlining processes to better support our work and in building in best practice to try to ensure that our refurbished computers are as close to perfect as we can get them. This very significant investment in our future reflects our strong commitment to continue our work in assisting the disadvantaged and supporting community development.
…. and thanks to the Kedron-Wavell Services Club community funding program our volunteers will soon be able to breeze through weather extremes in the comfort of reverse-cycle air-con.
